A sizable delegation has visited the Egyptian capital to witness works on-site.

The KFU team comprised Vice-Rector for Academic Affairs Yekaterina Turilova, Vice-Rector for International Affairs Timirkhan Alishev, Vice-Rector for Finance Rishat Gazizullin, and Director of the Department of Informatization and Communications Sultan Nurutdinov.

Several discussions with Egyptian colleagues took place, covering educational programs in medicine and staff hiring. Special attention was paid to integrating the branch into KFU’s online services and infrastructure.

“We have opened overseas branches in the past. However, each one is a unique project aiming to provide high-quality education. It’s a teamwork which requires involvement and synchronized effort from many university departments and institutes. I am convinced this new project will be implemented in time. We see the high preparedness and the hard work of our partners, Modern Group,” says Vice-Rector Alishev.

Demand for top-quality Russian education is growing in Africa and the Arab world. KFU is a fitting partner to meet this demand. Among other things, it will be one of the Russian language learning centers in Africa.

Meanwhile, renovations and equipment purchases – in accordance with Russian standards and requirements – are in full swing at the branch. The teaching should start in the coming academic year.
