Children of KFU employees receive first-grader kits from Rector Lenar Safin – Kazan Federal University

A new tradition has been introduced this year.
At a tea table with snacks, the Rector met elementary schoolers and their parents and said, “A new school year is ahead, for which all schoolchildren, their teachers and parents are actively preparing. This year, September 1 will be unique for you, as you are entering this wonderful and exciting world of knowledge for the first time. Obey your parents, study well, and we, for our part, have prepared for you these study kits with essentials.”
The kids asked Lenar Safin about his own experiences in elementary school. He shared several amusing stories from his life about new friends and discoveries.
The children then received backpacks with copybooks, pens, pencils, pencil cases – in total over 60 essential school items.
Separate ceremonies were held at some other structural units, such as Naberezhnye Chelny Institute, Institute of Chemistry, and Institute of Social and Philosophical Sciences and Mass Communications.
Overall, the University plans to disburse 253 such kits.
