Driverless tractor shown at All-Russian Field 2023 expo – Kazan Federal University

At the All-Russian Field Day – 2023, which is being held these days in the Laishevo District of Tatarstan, a sample of the KFU-MTZ-3525 unmanned tractor with a high degree of automation has been presented.

The unique agricultural machinery was developed by the specialists of the Center of Excellence in Special Robotics and AI of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT.

The demonstration of universal computing units of agricultural machinery automation, equipment and infocommunication system of an unmanned heavy class tractor based on the MTZ-3525 chassis – one of the latest developments of the center – is held at the event by Pavel Kolpakov, Head of Production the Center of Excellence.

“The exhibition presents the latest achievements of our research center in automation of agricultural machinery. The visitors’ special attention is attracted by the system of combining technical vision with projection of the road situation on the digital twin. We plan further cooperation with MTZ-Tatarstan on the automation of heavy and medium class tractors,” says Anton Egorchev, Director of the Center of Excellence.

The driverless tractor project is developed in cooperation TPK MTZ-Tatarstan, an affiliate of Minsk Tractor Plant in Russia.

The All-Russian Field Day is the largest exhibition of achievements of the national agro-industrial complex. The event is supported by the Ministry of Agriculture of Russia.
