KFU’s work represented at 3rd Russia-Uzbekistan Interregional Cooperation Forum – Kazan Federal University

The forum was held at Kazan Expo and featured 19 Russian provinces and 12 Uzbekistani provinces, as well as 700 business delegates.
Among the participants were Rais (Governor) of Tatarstan Rustam Minnikhanov and President of Uzbekistan Shavkat Mirziyoyev.
At KFU’s booth, several projects in AI, robotics, and software were shown.
Director of the Institute of Computational Mathematics and IT Anton Yegorchev informed that the University showed such projects as Amalthea (a medical monitoring AI system for continuing patient care), ASDIK (intelligent ultrasound diagnostics), Studerus (a software tool for Russian language studies), and Owl School (mobile apps for languages studies in Rusisan, English and German).
Among other items were Phoenix (a perimeter security system), Constellation (a system of ultra-precision navigation and positioning), Whisper (a noise cancelling system for call centers), Clarity (a noise cancelling system for UHF radio), Resonance (a kit for monitoring of the efficiency of machine and device handling), and Satellite (a information and diagnostics system for KAMAZ trucks).
Director of the Institute of AI, Robotics and System Engineering Dmitry Chikrin said that KFU offered to open centers of AI for research and industry in Uzbekistan and Tatarstan.
